Schenectady accounting firm announces addition of 7th Certified Public Accountant
Schenectady, NY -- Peterson, Campoli & Associates CPAs, PLLC, is proud to welcome Kelly L. Moono, CPA, to their accounting firm.
A native of the Philadelphia area, Kelly was previously a manager at a Pennsylvania CPA firm. She brings with her over 34 years of experience and expertise in areas of individual, business, and not-for-profit tax preparation and accounting services, and compilations and reviews.
“We are excited to have Kelly join our team as she truly values client relationships and understands the importance of meeting the needs of both individuals and businesses in diverse areas of accounting and taxation,” said Colleen Campoli, Principal of Peterson, Campoli & Associates CPAs, PLLC. “Her many years of experience and attention to detail will enable us to better serve our clients.”
A graduate of Messiah College, Kelly is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and a member of the Pennsylvania Society of Certified Public Accountants.
Kelly and her husband Dr. Steady Moono live in Schenectady and she is a co-founder and board member of Africa-America International Ministries and a board member of Victory Valley Camp, Small Steps Christian Nursery School.

Schenectady accounting firm adds to diverse staff
Schenectady, NY – Peterson, Campoli & Associates CPAs, PLLC, is pleased to announce that Janet Yue Li, CPA, has joined their accounting firm.
Originally from China, Janet brings over 30 years of experience in banking and the financial service industries with expertise in estate, gift, trust administration, and fiduciary and decedent income tax preparation.
“Janet has a depth of experience in trust administration and taxation, and generation-skipping transfer tax (GSTT) augmenting our company’s scope of services. She also understands the importance of how we value our client relationships and the personalized services we offer. She is a great addition to our team,” said Heather Peterson, Principal of Peterson, Campoli & Associates CPAs, PLLC.
Janet received her undergraduate degree from Jilin University(China), her master’s degree from the College of Saint Rose (Albany) and her MBA from Saint Leo University (Florida). She is a licensed Certified Public Accountant and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Relocated from Clearwater, FL, Janet now resides in East Greenbush with her son, and gained her US citizenship in 2016. She enjoys music, dancing, and hiking in her free time.

Two Schenectady CPA Firms Announce Merger and Open New Office
Establishes Peterson, Campoli & Associates CPAs, PLLC, as a leading,
woman-owned tax and accounting firm in the Capital District
SCHENECTADY, NY -- Watson, Peterson & Company CPAs, PLLC and Colleen Campoli CPA, two top local accounting firms, have merged and will operate a full-service accounting firm under the name Peterson, Campoli & Associates CPAs, PLLC.
Partners Heather Peterson, CPA, and Colleen Campoli, CPA, have over 50 years of combined accounting experience and both companies were known for providing superior, personalized service to their clients.
The new structure allows the firm to serve a more diverse client base and offer expanded services including tax preparation services for individuals, businesses, and not-for-profit organizations, assurance and advisory services, estate and trust planning, fiduciary taxation, and concierge finance services for seniors.
“I was inspired by my mother, Susan Watson, who started the firm in 1991,” said Heather Peterson. “I am thrilled to be able to continue her vision of building strong client relationships based on integrity and respect. And, I am excited about building the best possible accounting team for continued long-term growth.”

The firm has moved into its new location at 1473 Erie Boulevard in Schenectady, NY, and employs six Certified Public Accountants and five support staff.
The company will host a Ribbon Cutting and Open House on Wednesday, December 5, from 4pm to 7pm. Guests are asked to bring a hat or gloves to be donated to The City Mission of Schenectady.
Heather Peterson is a graduate of the College of Saint Rose and is actively involved in the local community. She currently serves as President of the Board of the Downtown Schenectady Improvement Corporation (DSIC) and is Co-Chair of the Glenville Oktoberfest. She received the YWCA Susan Rosenthal Woman in Business Award in 2015. She lives in Glenville with her husband and daughter.
Colleen Campoli is a native of Schenectady and a graduate of Siena College. She is Treasurer of the Wiawaka Holiday House and enjoys skiing. She lives in Rotterdam with her husband and son.
Both women are members of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the NYS Society of Certified Public Accountants.
